His Holiness Pope Francis has appointed our Bishop Kenneth Nowakowski, who was bishop of New Westminster, to be the new bishop of the Eparchy of the Holy Family of London, with its Cathedral of the Holy Family in Exile in London, England. Bishop Ken assumes his new role immediately and will spend the next few weeks planning his move to England and transitioning responsibilities.

Most Reverend Bishop David Motiuk, the Bishop of Edmonton has been appointed Apostolic Administrator and will be in charge of the Eparchy of New Westminster until a successor for Bishop Ken has been appointed.

Bishop Ken joined the Ukrainian  Catholic Eparchy of New Westminster in June of 2007 and was ordinated on July 24, 2007. We thank Bishop Ken for his dedicated and prayerful leadership, service, and stewardship over the past 12 ½ years. We pray for him as he prepares and transitions to his new and expanded role in the UK.
